Rod Lamberts is a chief investigator on Engaging Visions, overseeing the evaluation of the Project. Rod lectures in both the undergraduate and postgraduate science communication program at the Australian National University. He also convenes the Science Communication honours program at CPAS.

Before moving to science communication, Rod’s academic background was in psychology and medical anthropology. He has also been a corporate communication consultant and facilitator for over 10 years. In addition, Rod is CPAS’s UNESCO science communication liaison for the Pacific.

Rod supervises research student projects across a diversity of science communication topics at the Honours, Masters and PhD levels. His professional and research interests include; public awareness of mental illness, notions of expertise in science, risk and crisis perception/communication, and cross cultural communication of science and medicine.
