These four works are a response to the natural environment in particular the water against the land as viewed from the air. Viewing the water systems from the ground is an experience with a microcosm such as a creek, river or water catchment area that is localised and enveloping. Viewed from the air these smaller systems disappear into a vast ecosystem where the effects of the drought or human intervention through dams is far more visually dramatic.
