Flooding of Lake Merreti

Lake Merreti on Calperum Station had its first taste of water in three years with an environmental release of 2 Gigaliters on Friday 13th March.Lake Merreti is an important Lake in a series on Calperum Station that supports migatory birds from as far away as China.The 2 Gigaliter release will take a month to complete.Calperum Station employee Len prepares to open the inlet.
